We went for a boat ride with the Blue Dolphin Charters. The scenery is AMAZING, but the snorkeling was the most boring snorkeling ever. The place where they stopped the boat did not have anything cool. With no cool ocean floor, vegetation or fish.
Highly recommend, a great time for a great price!! MAHALO!!!
Also, they did not have nausea pills in the boat (I think it is very useful in a boat!). Half of passengers were seasick and some were throwing up. I really think they are responsible to carry some pills to avoid this.
They did an amazing job of delivering this tour, and you'd be in great hands, should you choose to go with them.
The whales, the dolphins, the view, and the dive is what we paid for, what we got was one of the best experiences we have ever had. What took it to the next level was the professionalism and the genuine positive attitudes of the crew. As a unit they were the best I've ever seen. Patient, kind, helpful, hospitable, knowledgeable, and all around nice. I would highly recommend this tour!! Capt. Christian, Yoav (our dive instructor-freaking awesome), Ischa, Cole, and Sully....Thanks guys!!! All are the best!
Chad, Quinn and Mike were fabulous! They kept an eye out for aquatic life to point out to us, and Chad spotted a whale, which was rare for this time of year. They kept the drinks and food coming. They really mean "unlimited" when it comes to the beer, wine and mixed drinks.
We went on a whale watching tour and had a great time. The boat was clean and seemed well looked after. The washrooms were clean and functioning!! Thumbs up to our crew, they did a great job spotting the whales and followed a group for the entire trip. Offered a steady supply of alcohol, soft drinks and food for us to enjoy. Staff seemed knowledgeable about whales and the island in general, great to take to and learn about places to go. Defiantly recommend these people if you want to see some whales!
They were personable, fun and present the entire time. It was a great mix of fabulous customer service with pointing out special sights in the moment so you don't miss them.
Our Sunset Cruise was AMAZING! Captain Joe had a great sense of humor and was very informative of his Hawaiian history and landscape. Ben and Dane were super attentive making sure we had drinks, snacks and offered to take photos of us where great photo ops were in order. Dinner was fresh and prepared excellently, even my vegetarian meal! BTW... When we made our reservations, we we're asked if either one of us required a special meal. That totally impressed me because it's usually the other way around!!
