He truly embodied the Aloha Spirit, of welcoming new guests to the park.
About 15 years ago there was a care taker named Uncle Tony.
Cool beach. Saw some fish snorkeling. And met a big turtle that was chilling on the beach.
This place was absolutely awesome. We're here on vacation with her family and it was a great place for kids. Most of my family are not strong swimmers and because of where this is located The Tide is not as strong and the waters are relatively calm. We even came with a are six month old grandson and it was pretty easy. There are two beaches which are across from each other and the Google Maps shows one that's a little harder to get to but you should see it across the way. The neighborhood was awesome and great it seems like there are a lot of locals that like to come to this place. They have shelters so it's also a great place to have a picnic or a large family function.
Such a beautiful beach. Not over crowded and totally accessible to families of any size. The waves were super safe and mellow, as well. Love it here!!!
One of the best places to snorkel on the west side of Kauai. Safe swimming and wading for families, picnic area, restroom, lifeguard, lots of parking, showers and tent camping. Historic salt collection areas nearby. Driving directions in Kauai Trailblazer guide.
Beautiful place to go swimming and camping.
The lifeguards are also a great resource of local knowledge.
The park care takers are super friendly and helpful.
